Like many of you, we as individuals and as a disaster recovery company, have spent much time over the last several weeks learning and investigating the coronavirus (COVID-19), and how it is affecting our environment. That means, understanding how it impacts our customers at home and work, so we can best assist in relieving the severity of the dangers and reduce stress while making necessary adjustments to our operations in order to protect our employees.
We are continually researching and learning the official requirements, recommendations and instructions as far as optional treatments for fighting the coronavirus (COVID-19). As of now, we are offering 3 levels of treatment. Please contact us to get more details.
Additionally, we are closely following the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) guidelines and recommendations to help prevent the spread of the virus. We understand that this is a rapidly evolving situation, and that it's creating much uncertainty in our world. We encourage all of our customers to be knowledgeable about properly containing the virus, putting their health and safety first, and also avoiding the creation of disproportionate panic.
The first and most important rule before disinfecting against Coronavirus, is first to clean and only then to disinfect. There is a difference between the 2 actions, with the purpose of cleaning being to remove dirt from surfaces, while the disinfection eliminates the bacteria and viruses. Every surface that may have dust should be cleaned, including tables, shelves, door handles, lights switches, toilets etc. The cleaning should be done with soap and water or any other specific cleaning instruction relevant to the item cleaned.
If this can't be done by the customer, we can provide this service.
Please note that throughout the cleaning, it is highly recommended that you wear gloves so that you do not get infected by coronaviruses. Discard the gloves as soon as you are done with the cleaning, and do not touch your face or surfaces that you have already cleaned.
Items that can be laundered, best treatment is to launder them in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions using the warmest appropriate water setting for the items and then dry items completely.
If this can't be done by the customer, we can provide this service.
Do not shake dirty laundry; this minimizes the possibility of dispersing virus through the air. Dirty laundry that has been in contact with an ill person can be washed with other people's items.

How long does Coronavirus/covid-19 and other viruses last on surfaces?
There are many researches around the world and many different findings emerging every day. However, according to the WHO (World Health organization), the coronavirus seems to behave like other coronaviruses that the world has seen in the past, viruses such as SARS and MERS. Based on most studies, we can be safe and work with the fact that the COVID-19 lasts on surfaces between a few hours to up to several days (17 days being the highest proven period), and it depends on the type of surface (Plastic, hard surface, metal) and the environmental conditions (Temperature and humidity).
